Need assistance finding correct ECM
Working on a 1988 Ford Bronco that has an incorrect ECM and could use some help finding what it was as-built. Looked everywhere but I am coming up with nada. I have the VIN and also the calibration code from the sticker on the driver door. Can anyone please help me before I lose my mind?
VIN: 1FMEU15H9JLA81803 (California vehicle)

Calibration code listed (not sure if from original or the incorrect one that is in it now): 8-64R-R10 E8AE-6E061-AFM

It's an automatic and he was told by the person he purchased it from that the ECM was not the original one as-built because he had the same issue locating the correct one.

Very well then. Glad I could help! I kind of went through this on my 93 f250 some years back, and to do a little research back then. That Oreilly's info is current however.
