Im going to pull my intake area apart to do a DPK kit and was thinking while it was all apart it would make sense to install the manifold to mount the methonal injector nozzles, tubing and everything else.
what do we know about methional and aluminum..any corrosion concerns at washer fluid mix ratios?

Id recommend a fass over a DPK if you don't have one. But no most of the meth evaporates off and I think thr corrosion of it is practically nothing to aluminum.
Oh boy this will be a long write up but here it goes for general education.
CP4s don't have bearing failure, the metal contamination is pretty much always caused from wear on the cam lobe OR the roller bucket cocking itself sideways and grinding against the lobe. Most of these issues are caused by lack of lubrication in the fuel. Bosch CP4s come from Europe which has a higher sulfur content in their diesel, Sulfur a source of lubrication.
A DPK is definitely a good idea, But a Fass pump will reduce the chances of failure in a few ways which even if the DPK saves everything else a new CP4 is still about $1400. #1 is the air separation system, Air I'm the fuel will significantly reduce the lubrication and can be considered dirty in a way, getting it out of there should be priority. #2 is the filter element used in them, Motorcraft and wix replacements filters work on a 5 micron level removing 99.7% of anything 5 microns or larger but don't do much for anything smaller then 3-4. The aftermarket filters work around a 99.6% on a 2 micron level. #3 is the slightly increased pressure and flow of the aftermarket pumps helps prime better on startup. I'm not sponsored by fass or anything but I spent the better part of a week digging up as much info on the 6.7 powerstroke injection system and Fass fuel systems as i could before pulling the trigger on my own. Plus the filters are cheaper on the aftermarket kit by about $30. Sorry to jack the original forum
The fass pump/filter will do nothing during dry starts
dry start can be cussed by failed pumps or clogged filters due to waxing/gelling.
I have seen videos of failed cp4’s and they have scaring on the roller bearing from the cup rotating
the cup is not pinned and can freely rotate.
the DPK prevents metal particles injector damage
You should never have dry starts, Most pump diesel won't gell under -15 and if you have cold weather coming up then get a bottle of Motorcraft additive. I've been able to keep a fleet of 6.7s alive turning over 200k miles on the OEM CP4s. Anyway, Are you planning to use the DEF tank for the meth injection?
Damn well a bed mounted 5 gallon would be great, honestly I've considered pulling the valve covers and running multiport I injection, I don't think the factory intake is very good for wet flow.
Interested how you guys made out with your installs? I've been thinking about it too but a diesel mechanic that serviced my truck in the past indicated that combustion pressures get scary on the 6.7's. Don't know if this means it's an issue? Still curious how it's working for you guys? Keep posting!

your mechanic is confusing nitric oxide injection and methonal/water injection.
