divorced 203 T-case info

divorced 203 T-case info

i got a 74 F-250 that i picked up today and it has a 203, yes a 203 divorced, i was wondring if it has the same internals as other 203 units, i would like to run a double kit with this set up. has anyone run this set up or have any info on it, thanks jason.

Yes, it should come apart in sections just like the rest of the 203, simply with a closed input section. All you are interested in is the gear reduction section in the middle, octagon shaped. I can't rember who it is, but someone has a new kit that eliminates the longer adapter section to the 205, Check the BC bronco web page, I think that is where I found it. But if you are on a long wheel base vehical, the kit from the 203 to the 205 should cost about $500-700 depending on where you are located.

ya i figured that it was the same but i have not had a chance to brake it in half. i have seen plenty of chevy and a few fords 203 and they pretty much the same except for the bolting pattern, but the divorced model looks like the ford. i am going to use the ORD kit and tell them i need it for the ford 31 spline 205, thanks for the info, jason.

i have a ton of plow work coming in this week so no time to play, but i will crack it open soon and try to post up some pictures. by x-mas i hope to have the ORD double kit all hook up its going in my ****** jeep i know i know this is a ford site but if it help my DD is a 89 F-250 and its also my bread and butter truck so dont grill me to much, jason.

Divorced 203, 205

Does the divorced 203 have the shift linkage on the side and does it shift with two rods from the single shift lever? My divorced 205 has the shift linkage on the front and is shifted with a single rod from the shift lever.

ya it has the two levers on the side of the range box and all shifts thru one lever. i am trying to find out the size of a 203 input (from a C-6) bearing seal any help, jason.
