Odd AC control knob issue

Odd AC control **** issue
I wonder if this is an actuator issue, or due to me put a wrong vacuum tube on a wrong **** port since I took out the dash before.
My problem is that to get cold AC, I don't turn it to AC, I have to turn it on the fan side (right side).
If I turn it at AC using the ****, it blows warm air.
