Question headers/hi-flow cat/cat-back exh. for 5.4L

I am looking into a hi-flow cat for my '02 F-250 SD CC 4X2 5.4L. That, naturally led me to headers and cat-back exhaust systems. No coincidence there, right?

I need to stay smog-legal (C.A.R.B. approved), but naturally want to get as much from my 5.4 as possible.

So far, I've come up with this: Xtreme Flow cat w/ Gibson headers and Gibson cat-back exhaust system.

Sound good? I don't want loudness outside or reverb inside... I have a street-mod '59 F-100 for that !

Any experience with the above? Suggestions? Recommendations? Pro's - con's....???

Many thanks!
Daryl

I installed LongTube headers on a 03 Lightning and high flow cats with flows and it sounds good maybe a little loud for ya but the exhaust does come out the side so out the back and you should be ok.

i'd opt for cermamic coated jba's if i wer you- better exhaust scavenging and lower under hood temps- i lived in south fla and the salt in the air from the ocean ate away at my headers-so if you are near the ocean- i'd highly recommend it- plus those headers will last longer than the truck-phil
