Update.... The new leather steering wheel is ever so slightly lighter than OEM but it doesn't bother me. I don't think I'm color blind. lol What a difference! I recommend anyone needing a new steering wheel to search for a "very skilled" upholstery shop who has experience recovering leather steering wheels. Prices I saw were anywhere from $250 - $500. I'm more than happy with this one.

Hi Rainmaker1,
I know this thread is over a year old, but I'm the same predicament. I need a new wheel or a recovered wheel. Are you still happy with your steering wheel and Best Way Auto Upholstery? Thanks!

The leather failed after about 8 months. Had nothing to do with the workmanship. The stitching was beautiful. I brought the truck back, cost me 50% to have it redone and this time the workmanship is as beautiful as the first. The material used was from the BMW upholstery books and it still looks like new. A little saddle soap occasionally to keen mechanics grime off of it and it's looking like new again.
I don't have the specs on it and the color isn't exact, but you wouldn't notice unless you really scrutinized it. If you can't find or don't care for the wheels available online, have yours recovered. It's ~$300 (priced during covid) well spent!

Dallas Custom Steering Wheel was my go to. I have no complaints. I was able to choose my stitch style, thicker padding was used, and the thumb rests were added as seen on the Navigator. Leather intended for steering wheels was used which is UV treated...

I just use Wheelskins on mine. Theres no chunks missing so when installed its nice and smooth. Plus, it makes the wheel nice and fat.

Takes about 30 minutes to install.
