Is there some nifty trick to putting the doors back on these trucks? I will be needing to remove and replace mine soon!
Manual says install hinges on csb. Then slide door onto hinges. Adjust in/out at cab, front/back at door. They make it sound easy.
Found the problem with mine today. LMC door gasket too thick. Removed and door fits fine. Will use a thinner universal gasket. I ordered all gaskets from lmc. Everything else fit perfect. Passenger door too thick but curves all lined up. Driver's door wasn't even close. Had I not bought the gaskets six years ago I would have returned it.

I have seen where people have posted Dennis Carpenter seals are better and don't have this problem anyone else?
The neighbor that suggested my door seals were too thick had same problem with lmc door seals on his '54.
Also discovered you can loosen the three hinge bolts inside door upper or lower to adjust fit. I was trying to loosen both hinges, hold in place and tighten. While fighting my hydraulic lift table that kept leaking down. Good job to have a helper.
