I have a 2001 F-250 with a 7.3. Driving home one day, the converter wasn't locking up in high gear. Then the truck mysteriously shut off and hasn't started since. I put a new ford cam position sensor in it. It had a code for the injector driver. Changed that still nothing. Thought maybe a computer. A buddy had one that was on the bench and worked in his truck when we tried it. (His truck is identical to mine except for paint color) No change. Hooked a scanner up. Passed a buzz test. IPR was at 40% duty cycle. ICP showed 2000 PSI during cranking. Pulled the valve covers and have oil flowing through the injectors as well. Wires all looked fine. Tonight, I pulled the IPR. Had some sludge. Replaced that as well. Still no start. What's next?
Google the "No Start Flow Chart". Also, read through the tech folder. Check your IPR and CPS pigtails. Check the IPR one closely. Make sure the insulation is intact and no wires are touching.
How is the fuel level and fuel pressure? Have the in-tank mods been done (hutch & harpoon)? Is there any smoke coming out the tailpipe during cranking?
