Ok I have a summit racing tilt column with a sum 772802 horn button. I just rewired my truck with a ez wire 21 circuit harness. The horn does not work when you press on the horn button. So I took off the horn button and started looking around. When you take a test light and clip the ground to the body and touch the hot lead at the connector coming from inside the column the horn the horn blows. If you clip the test light to the center nut that holds the steering wheel on and touch the same hot lead the horn works. And when you hook up the ground wire to the horn button and touch the hot lead the horn sound. But if you put the ground wire on and hit the horn button I get nothing. Any thoughts? Also there are three screw that hole the horn button to a ring. These three screw have small springs holding the button away so the horn wont complete the circuit until you press down on the horn button. The connector I am talking about is a standard gm steering column connecter
thanks

Well here is my update. I got the horn to work. Evidently summit racing had the instructions wrong on how to set up horn connection . I had it their way and the connector that supplied power never made contact with the horn button. So the circuit was never connected.
