Did some looking on here and I wasn't able to find out if I can take a complete 1963 F100 Body, cab, box, front end, and set it on a 1965 F100 Frame. I know the front cab mount are different. I can fabricate about anything. My frame is all done for my 65 but the body is poor. I have the opportunity to purchase a 1963 truck from down south that is solid. Let me know if others have done, other threads that I didn't locate. Thanks.
If you can fabricate then it will work ,I put a 66 cab and frt on a 65 4x4 had to move steering the 65 comes thru floor 66 thru firewall and I left body mounts and move the mounts on frame but it was easier than all that body work.
Cab step, visible when the doors are opened: 1961/64 F100/350 // 1965 F100/250 4WD // 1965/66 F350 // 1966 F250 4WD
No cab step: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD // 1966 F100 4WD

1957/60 Styleside beds were used on the following 1961/66's. Called the "wrong" beds, because the bed lines don't match the cab lines.
1961/65 F100/250 4WD // 1961/66 F350 // 1962/63 F100/250 2WD // 1966 F250 4WD
----------
1961/64: The steering shaft goes directly into the gearbox. So you have to remove the steering column and the gearbox as a one piece assembly.
1965/66 F100/250 2WD: The steering shaft connects to the input shaft of the gearbox with a steering coupler aka rag joint.
-----------
1961/64 F100/250 2WD have leaf spring front suspension. 1965/66 F100/250 2WD have Twin-I-Beam coil spring front suspension.
1961/64 vs 1965/66: Engines are different, engine/trans mounts are different, steering gears are different, clutch linkage is different.
Forget it, you're opening a huge cab of worms. Find a cab from a 1965/66 F100/250 2WD, 1966 F100 4WD and be done with it.

fordno1: You haven't mentioned whether your 1965 is a SWB, or LWB. I mention this because 1961-63 LWB was 122", while 1964, 65 & 66 were 129".
So, if your 1965 is a LWB, the 1963 box will not work (and if it's a styleside, it would be a "wrongbox" (ie: 1957-1960 style), which would not be particularly desireable........
My 66 cab I moved my steering box to frt.I cut my shaft off about 3" above the box and welded a rag joint to it and built a new shaft the right length . 30 yr ago before internet and you had to go your own route
