78 F150 460. I have a 460 with stock manifold, trans-dapt adapter spread bore to straight bore holley. Is there anyone who makes a phenolic adapter to replace the aluminum adapter?
I have searched and came up empty.
In trying to cure my problem (vapor locking) is going to be either Mr. Gasket 3710 or 97. The 3710 is stacked gaskets with heat shield. The 97 is stacked gaskets and called heat dissipater.
Anyone have any opinions.

Are you getting vapour locking in the carb or fuel lines ?
You are getting fuel boiling due to the ethanol content in the fuel, modern fuels are much lighter (in terms of heavy hydrocarbon chains) and the addition of ethanol compounds the problem further.
So you can fix this 2 ways insulated the carb from engine heat Phenolic spacers or more fibre spacers or the addition of a heat shield such as this. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hly-108-70
The other solution is to add about a gallon of diesel to a tank for fuel, doing this will add in heavier hydrocarbon chains and lower the boiling point of the fuel. This is a common and easy solution that works for most people. Using Diesel also does not affect the octane rating of the fuel.
I fought fuel boil/vapor lock with my Bronco for a while, ended up stacking a old Ford 2bbl EGR plate on top of the Mr gasket adapter. And insulated the fuel lines.
