Rear-end conversion

New to this site. I'm finishing up a rear disc conversion for my 99'F150 supercab. Complete crossover to 2000 model assembly. However after a few mods to the backing plate I decided to upgrade my open differential. I've been looking at various limited-slip and locking differentials. I was leaning towards the lock-right setup for cost/performance value mated to the stock 355's. Any opinions on alternate gears or differentials would be a great help.

Jlesser,

I took my truck to Steeda and had them install the Auburn Pro limited slip diff and 4.10 gears. Go with this combo if your running an auto trans. It's a little pricey but worth every penny. It will breath new life into your truck.

The only problem you may encounter, and not everyone does, is that your drive shaft may need rebalancing. Mine does. I haven't taken it in for it yet but I will soon. $100.00 should cover the task.

If you have an auto trans, the 4.10's are a must.

Tom
