Hi everybody new to this site, hoping people here can help. I have a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport trac XLT 4wd. Truck sat for about a year and a half while going through a divorce. In the end I got the truck but I started having issues. First was battery and alternator which have been replaced new. Then I was getting codes for first set of cats so I replaced that. From sitting most of the rest of the exhaust needed replacing so I replaced everything except the rear cats. The truck runs rough at idle, stop at a stop sign, traffic light etc she runs real rough, sometimes you have to floor it for it to come out of it, but goes right back if you have to stop and idle again. Put it on a code checker said Bank One Rich. Gave me a code for O2 sensor on new cats. Replaced it with one from Ford. Aftermarket sensor had a different plug. Then the next code was MAF. That I cleaned with MAF sensor cleaner, still running rough Bank on rich, changed the spark plugs, wires and coil pack. Next code Throttle Positioning sensor, replaced that. Still getting code too rich on Bank One and still runs rough. At a 100 bucks a pop for sensors it's costing me more then the truck is worth. (Truck has 185,000 miles) Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks I'm going to have to send it to someone who knows how to check that, because I can't afford to replace fuel injectors. I failed to note that it's the 4.0L V6. What makes you think fuel injectors and I would think I would get some kind of code indicating that.
I'd be checking for vacuum leaks. Some common areas to consider are intake manifold gaskets, PCV elbow, and the intake air tub at the clamps as well as within the accordion folds after the MAF sensor. The rich codes could indicate fuel injectors that are stuck open, but vacuum leaks can cause some interesting issues with rich/lean codes and they are much less expensive to check for and usually also to fix than injectors, catalytic converters, or many of the sensors.
stop at a stop sign, traffic light etc she runs real rough

Opening the throttle a lot lets in more air, leans out the mixture, and if running rich, this would be a good thing. If it were running lean, flooring it would probably stall it.

A leaky injector would continue to leak so this matches.

Extra fuel getting in somewhere. "Somewhere" is the fuel injector(s) or else gasoline would be all over and I bet you'd tell us about that. The PCM knows how to adjust fuel for the amount of air coming in . . . within limits. If an injector was leaking a bunch of extra that it doesn't know about then you'd end up with stuff like this. Other stuff could cause some of these individual symptoms, however, all of these together points me to a leaky injector.
