Transmission question.
I'm doing a Cummins swap in my 03 6.0 I want to use the zf6 in place of my 5r110 I'm hearing on other forums that I'll have to cut the center hump out and get one from a truck that already had a zf6 in it. There saying the reason for this is because the hump for the zf6 is higher than the hump for the 5r110. Is there any truth to this? Please help.

OP -- there is no finer tranny out there than the 5R110W and I understand the control, line pressure issues getting it to work with a Cummins, but why not just go with an NV factory set up off a donor?
