Replacement drivers seat options.
1997 F250 crewcab with the 40/20/40 seats.
Would like to find a firmer/ egronamic seat to support my arthritic hip. Looking for options to bolt onto the existing frame that goes accross all the seats.
My Honda CRV 2003 seat with a simple manual rail system looks promising.
Looked at used truck dealer's 2017 lariat seat, but it appears to bolt to the floor. Not an option with my standard frame.
Any input would be appreciated.

If you want a 100% bolt in option, try and find a western hauler or Centurion that you can rob the seats out of. Otherwise, you could take your current seats to an upholstery shop to get them redone.
If you want to do a little fab, any newer model seats will go in, you'd just need to fab some brackets and drill some holes.

Will do more research on newer model seats & check for avaliblity and price at local salvage yards.

my seat. I was admonished for doing it by some but it has worked well for me and I would do it again. At the time I got the foam cushion from e-bay for about $100.
