4x4 Bang
My 2009 4x4 King Ranch made a loud bang when I engage the 4x4 Hi and try to drive in reverse. I know a lot of 4x4 will give a thud when placed in 4X4 put this was on the extreme side. It only seems to have this issue when placed into reverse. Is it the transfer case meshing up? Or are there any ways to mitigate this?

so the truck works fine in 2 x 4 forward and reverse... when you put it in 4 x 4 HI you can travel forward with no problem, but when you put the trans in reverse, you get a bang ? ....... so what happens in 4 x 4 LO ?
