73 Front Aprons
Subject: 1973 F250 2wd.
According to the parts manual I need (see photo)
RH - D9TZ-16054-A (OR Older D4TZ-16054-A)
LH - D9TZ-16055-B (OR Older D3TZ-16055-A)
However, 73GreenBean says he picked some up from Bronco Graveyard
(https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...der-apron.html)
But the part numbers on their site are different, They are D6TZ-16054-A / D6TZ-16055-A - HOWEVER they are labeled correctly for the years.

Bottom line - I definitely need the RH Apron, the LH is not as bad but I might as well do them both, if the bronco graveyard ones will not work - does anyone know who else makes replacements?
LMC shows they have them, but I have seen/heard their sheet metal is paper thin and might as well be aluminium foil - can anyone confirm quality? Is Bronco Graveyard the same quality?
Thank you all for your help!
D9TZ-16054-A .. Right Front Fender Apron = 1973/79 F100/350 2WD/4WD & 1978/79 Bronco.
D9TZ-16055-A .. Left Front Fender Apron = 1973/79 F100/250 4WD, 1978/79 Bronco, 1979 F350 4WD
D9TZ-16055-B .. Left Front Fender Apron = 1973/79 F100/350 2WD
FoMoCo is infamous for replacing/updating 10's of 1,000's of part numbers EVERY
YEAR!The above F100/350 part number prefixes were originally D3TZ then D4TZ then D6TZ and finally D9TZ
Bronco parts not listed in this catalog, I added the 1978/79 applications.
The only difference I see is on the LH one there is some trimming done at the bottom around the center section. not much, not very deep. it's obvious with a little work you can make any apron fit any application.
