any intresting find
I have been slowly putsing with an old '64 F350 with a hoist. Got her back on the road, so I thought.
Plated and at last insured I rolled in to town to get a load of crushed lime rock, Price is right at free.99....
Running like a champ cruising at a breathtaking 60mph when it starts acting like its starved for fuel. Pull over. Idles smooth....no junk in the fuel bowl. I take off, wrap it thru second...into third. Pow! the loudest knock ever. Will not start again.
Hmm.....
Nothing broke acts like dead valves..... nope....
The amazon 300 inline distributor. Pulled full vacuum advance and held it there. Runs smooth as silk once I retarded it enough.
Gets better.. it still pulls some vac advance. Damndest thing I ever saw.
