Intake with no EGR ?
I have a 1984 with 302 engine and was thinking of getting an Eldebrock intake manifold.
My engine now of course has an EGR valve, but have a chance to get an Edlebrock manifold with no EGR plate at a good price.
Emissions where I live is no concern, but would like to know how this might effect my engine, going from EGR to no EGR.
Will I get a lot of pinging? Have to turn down the timing a bunch?
Or best to stay with an EGR plate manifold?
