Figuring out engine & axle codes
Guy's,
Can anyone tell me what engine had a "L" in the V.I.N # for a '86 F-350? Also, what does a "C9" signify for an axle code? I have a Chilton repair manual that has code information but it does not show the two codes I listed. Not sure what to make of that?
Anyway, where could someone find a complete breakdown of all the codes for the '80-'86 trucks?
