I am a relatively new member to FTE and have gotten some great information here. Thanks for all the help to the other users as well as to Ken. On August 14th I was traveling on US 264 in my '99 F150 when a gentleman in a Durango crossed the median and hit me head-on. My seatbelt held me in place for the airbag to do its job, I walked away from this! Obviously, I was in shock as I couldn't move for 5 days afterward. As I have explained to others, I'm not sure that being in a Ford saved my life, but Jesus must have been comfortable in mine-so I think I'll continue to drive Fords forever. I replaced my F 150 with an '01 F 250 CC SB 5.4, a little more leg room for Him! Since I'm a computer dummy, Ken is going to post the pics for me. Peace
Well after T-oning a mini van a few months back, and walking away with not so much as a hair out of place, I can vouch for these trucks standing up in a wreck.
good to here ya walked away, how'd teh guy in the durango do? bein a truckdriver i see this happen too often, gives me shivers everytime i see an ambulance
Unfortunately, he didn't make it. When Ken gets the pics posted, you will see why it was truly a miracle that I even survived, much less WALKED away from this.
speaking of mericles, my buddy wasnt paying attention yesterday and went to cross traffic on a two lane highway and hit a lady who was moving at 70 mph, he was going 10, they all walked away, both were driving 99 fords and both looked like people should have died. thank God for angels and thank God for seatbelts and fords!! sorry to hear about the other fella. rip
carter1, wow, I'm shocked. You're lucky to be alive. God smiled on you and allowed you to live through such a thing. As for the other fella in the Durango, may he rest in peace........
