Upgraded my 2017 F350 dually factory 17 inch rims to six 20 inch Fuel Cleavers. My dilemma now is that the factory spare will be too small and I’m wondering what I should replace it with? Links to a rim/spare would be helpful if you know of any. I will be running 275/65/20 all terrain tires that I have on order.
The spare is a michelin, so that’s probably what was on it stock. I purchased the truck used. My tire salesman is telling me to put a 255/80/17 on the spare rim which is about an inch shorter than I’ll be running with my 275/65/20’s.
When was the last time you needed the spare? For me is a very, very rare occurrence. If it was my truck I’d leave the spare alone and only put it on the front if I ever needed it. It won’t hurt to have the fronts mismatched for a few miles until you can get the road tire fixed or replaced.

This. A mismatched front tire wont hurt as long as you don't use 4wd. If you blow a rear you can drive with one dual flat if you take it easy. I've done it many times with large trucks and as long as you don't lose the mate to the flat tire your fine.
