Changing out transfer case fluid in my wife's 2010 Eddie Bauer Explorer (4X4 not AWD). Manual calls for Motorcraft transfer case fluid (XL-12). Told at my local parts store there is no cross reference for it. So I find it at Amazon-order it-when it came they sent me Mercon LV AFT. Reading other posts on different sites there is a lot of controversy over whether this is correct to use or not. Has Ford discontinued XL-12? Thanks! Appreciate any input.
