Iím sorry youíre so against colored wheels, but if I was a manufacturer I wouldnít offer chrome either, simply because one winter and youíll be getting warranty calls for flaking/peeling chrome !! Wheels are expensive having to warranty them all the time because they peel would suck!! Polished aluminum is a good option, but you gotta be willing to put in the time to polish them often!! My suggestion for you would be find a style you like, pay someone to strip them, then chrome them or polish them. That seems to be what youíre after
I went with factory chrome wheels on my '09 Escape, while it has not seen snow for months on end, it has seen a good bit of snow, still look great, just 62.000 miles though. 32,000 on my '12 F-150 Lariat with the optional factory chrome wheels, lives the same place the Escape does and it's wheels are fine.

I miss the old steel wheels, you could paint them any color. add chrome hub cap and trim ring and call it good.

My gripe is not the color, but that there is no aftermarket wheel made with a near-stock offset (+40 mm). So, every aftermarket wheel will stick out past the fender wells. Every wheel, every time. It's the reason I'm planning to go back to stock.

How to spend 3k on aluminum wheels ^^^^^ They're gorgeous though.

I settled for these, they have grown on me, but pain to wash. Method seems to make quality stuff like weld. I searched for months and every wheel i liked was only available in black or whatever.

Seriously though, Black, chrome, grey, gloss, matte...they all have their place and all can look good or bad. I generally like the black look. It's the colored wheels that look awful-bronze, red, green, blue etc.

I like less chrome on my vehicles lately.

It seems like everyone wants to brodoze their trucks, and the aftermarket is pandering to their requests. Every truck is a CCSB diesel with a leveling kit, 20-22" BLACK wheels with low profile mud tires and the usual bolt-on trinkets...

I've been looking for hours all week long...find a wheel design I really like....and it's black Cross that one off the list...
There are thousands of wheels out there today for our trucks...and I can only find 2 or 3 that I would buy.

Sorry for the rant and sorry if you have black wheels (you know what they say about opinions!), but I'm just getting fed up with it all.

And on top of that, I gotta pick a tire to go with it....
My understanding of a "Bro" truck is an extremely high lift with extra large wheels...... nothing to do with black wheels, diesel, crew cabs, or leveling kits. Google is your friend rant man. lol

I thought I was on the Corvette forum for a moment. There is a thread there with nearly the exact same title and nearly the same discussion w/pictures. Old guy chrome is the way to go.

Those are sweet. Wheels and tires. I like the machined aluminium look. As long as they dont get corrosion or turn white. Even then some elbow grease brings them back.

Did you see the second definition? Your understanding is different from mine. Also, 'bro truck' and 'brodozer' are different.

Brodozer:

Agreed! Trucks need something to break up all the monotone colors. You still canít beat the white, gold, and chrome package imo

around this area ,brodozers are mostly all the same. typically 35" tire, generally toyos, 20" wheel with -44 offset. level kit, diesel engine with large exhaust tip and muffler removed
