I noticed that this thing is not connected to anything other than the wires on the side. I'm just trying to to clean up my engine bay alittle. I was told this might be a overflow for my radiator. The radiator does have a small rubber hose going from the side and going nowhere. Just need a little help.
Windshield washer reservior (spl?) … likely the motor burnt out or froze up with just water. You can get a new pump at auto store, then hook up hoses and have a windshield washer.
The motor in side does work( I press the windshield wiper button and heard it) I just need a small hose to connect. Thanks y'all can't figure this stuff out with out y'all.
It never dawned on me until I saw this picture that I don't have a windshield fluid reservoir in my supercab. . Guess you miss things like that when it's an ongoing project that's never been on the road since I've owned it, just moved in and out of the garage and around the yard. I gotta go search my parts collection, I might have one from my old plow truck kicking around, hopefully.

Find a coolant overflow reservoir for the open end of that hose or the title of your next thread will be My Truck Is Overheating And I Don't Know Why. We get about 10 of those posted every year.
I use a one gallon anti-freeze plastic bottle and ran the hose to the bottom of it. After the engine cools it will suck the overflowed coolant back up.

I have a cheap knock-off reservoir with motor that you can have for the cost of shipping. It was a poor copy and I ended up buying a good $38 one I think. The motor works but as you can see from the pics I tried to seal it with some sealer because it keep leaking and I finally gave up on it. I'm going to throw it in the trash so I'll offer it to you first.
