It is not difficult at all on that side to bump the connectors with the valve cover during reinstallation.

Keep going, it will be on the road in no time...

I thought it was the brass plug before i got it cranked because it appeared to be dry above, i cleaned it and sealed with good pipe dope. After cranking it was pretty obvious its coming from one of the orings. Ill get it knocked out this week, going to try out the felpro kit.

Sounds Sweet............ Congrats. You hit it out of the ball park just by taking the cab off.

The ONE thing I and we will tell you is Motorcraft ONLY with O-Rings and sensors on these trucks. The dealer if you need it now, or Bob at Diesel O-Rings if you can wait a day or three. Do not go FelPro. A member here did that some time back and regretted it.

What Byron said. It will not take long into the oil cooler job to realize you never want to do it again.

I did mine a couple years back and went OEM. If the original o-rings and gaskets lasted me 15 years that was good enough for me. Plus it was a perfect fit.

You will also wish you did it with the cab in the air...hindsight being 20/20 and all.

I made sure there was a good coat on the o-rings and used a ratchet strap to squish it all back together.
