Electrical isses
My gear selector was almost broke and one day I shut the key off n truck stayed running,dash light stayed on till battery is dead so I replaced my steering column thinking this would solve the problem but I was wrong. When my expo is feeling the dome & all interior lights will bring rapidly only way to stop them from flashing is to turn to turn the running lights on. Any thoughts?

That year is one of the ones known for having a windshield leak that drips water down into the GEM mounted to the back of the fuse box. Once water gets into the GEM all sorts of weird electrical issues will start to happen. Have you noticed if these issues are more likely to happen after a rain or a car wash?
