had a nice uneventful (for me) day today.
7 of the 8 non english speaking rental trucks ignored the directions given to them this am. took a different route, including 4 ton tagged streets. they all got at least 6 tickets each...
then told the load counter they were done and not coming back at 12:30. work day was 7 am to 3 pm.
6 did 5 loads, 2 of them did 6 loads.
myself and the other english speaking driver did 8 loads.
we were parked in the yard and on our way home at 2:45.
what the non english speakers did not know was this run today paid by the load@ $125 per load instead of by the hour@ $90 per hour, because they are known for pulling this stunt.

i was across the street for a while. they had burgers, dogs, and salads. i brought two racks of ribs, plus jumbo shrimp and london broil, both seasoned over night in eyetalian dressing.
gonna go back over later after it cools off a bit for fireworks, dessert, and adult beverages.
for that i am bringing some apple pie, and Lynchburg lemonade.

Happy 4th of July Joisey and visitors.

Tom, sounds like a you had a nice day and the evening sounds really good too.

Charlie, those ribs look good. I have a rack in the fridge that will get cooked in the next couple of days.
