1947 Ford 1/2 Ton Panel-Stock or Dropped Axel??

Hi All--

I'm trying to determine if my front axel is stock or dropped. The drop measures about 6 1/2 inches from the top of the kingpin boss to the bottom of the axel part that is parallel to the ground.

I'd appreciate any dimensions available to help see if this axel is stock or not.

Thanks, Tom

Going by your measurement, your axle is not dropped.
