2013 sync freezes
My 2013 f350 with 30k miles has a problem with sync/ entertainment. It will freeze about every 3rd time I drive it. I have to remove the fuse and reinstall to get it to work. Had it to dealer several times and no problem found, but they did tell me I needed a new back up camera?????? Back up camera works fine, sync not so much. I know ford did an extended warranty for apim issues. I am now past the warranty period. Any ideas besides running it in the river and buying a truck that systems actually work on. I know this is my last ford vehicle.

What version is your SD card Maps? The latest is A10. You can get them off eBay for less than $45.00.
What version of Sync 2 is loaded? The latest Sync 2 version is v3.10 (not to be confused with the later Sync3 in the 2017 and newer SD trucks).
You can create a profile at the Ford Owner site and with a thumb drive (USB drive), download the update or maybe go here and downloaded it...

What version of Sync 2 is loaded? The latest Sync 2 version is v3.10 (not to be confused with the later Sync3 in the 2017 and newer SD trucks).

By chance, has the Sync module located on the passenger A pillar been replaced? If not, I might consider replacing it or at least reseat the connectors.

Do you have an update to this issue?
For the past few weeks, my Sync needed to perform scheduled maintenance every day and reset. I tried pulling the fuse a few times, then tried the master reset. None of which fixed it. I then uploaded the latest version of Sync and all was well for a week. Now I'm back to the same issue and last night Sync never loaded at all. It tried resetting 4 or 5 times on its own but kept crashing.
