Morning World.... today I have to play Taxi Driver...... wife, neighbor both need to have me drop off, wait, redeliver her home just to pick up neighbor and do the same for her - Doctor's appointments. Guess I'm the only one left that still is able to drive around this neighborhood. Glad appt time's were far enough apart !

Good morning Bud...all of Bud-land...and...those who visit!!! Sounds like it's a good thing you've got a hybrid Bud...low expenditure for gas. It's nice that you're willing and able to help your neighbor out.

Good Morning Maryland, Bud, Ken, John, Roy, Shaun and Crew.
And the truth comes out that Bud is a Good Person despite the persona he tries to convey!

No thanks Ken.... I can say "NO" now........
She was pretty late getting out of the Docs office so I decided to NOT go to the store today...will do that tomorrow. Instead I installed the new replacement LED tubes in the florescent tube holder in the kitchen - dual (4ft). Had to cut out the old ballast & wired directly to the ends of the new 110v tube holders. Minor cut and splice using two more wire nuts. WOW !!! What a difference in brightness. Old tubes were due for replacement - flickering and dim.
Not bad pricing either $30 for 4 tubes - plan on replacing basement shop lights when they go with the extra two. So bright I may just stick one in each of the two dual fixtures there.

The LED tubes make a big difference. The replaced all the 8 foot florescent tubes with two 4 foot LED tubes and as they did the difference was obvious.

I have ten spare ballasts I may as well throw out because I'm sure the florescent fixtures will soon be a thing of the past..

I bought enough LED bulbs from the twins school trip fund raiser to replace all the bulbs in my condo...so far I've only replaced 1 of them. Some of the bulbs in my place came with it...32 years ago!!! Do you think I've got my moneys worth???
