Here we go again, Controller issue - Backwards readings for gain!!

Here we go again, Controller issue - Backwards readings for gain!!

integrated controller on my F350 , 2015 when I press on brake the gain goes from 6 down to 2 , instead of 0-6 like it always has. Brakes are not stuck and seem to be working , just backwards readout Im stumped ????Ideas ????/ Work with manual press but same deal

Strange, never heard of this issue. Any fault codes when you scan it?

Scan as in truck or controller? Should i just stop by dealer. Can they plug it in to check

Scan the truck, but the dealer will work and ultimately you will most likely need the dealers IDS to diagnose the issue. But being a 2015 I'd bet you are out of warranty for this type of repair.

of course I can replace the unit myself if its bad --- I think but probably has to be programmed to truck?

I think you would be ok since it is already enabled to operate in the PCM. I think your could just swap it out.

Thanks for your help. I unplugged, tightened the connections, shook out a tad of water , cleaned all connections , tested all lines , and when plugged back in all worked fine. We had a TON of rain here , perhaps just an anomaly . Ill keep an eye on it

Thanks for reporting back. I am unclear where the water was? Did you pull apart the 7 pin connector and that is where the water was?

yes the 7 pin plug ( from the trailer) I plug it on the side wall of the truck bed, it get a lot of weather there
