I just purchased my 97 f250 hd 7.3 from boss. The steering wheel column got broke and can wobble it around, problem is the cruise control and horn won't work anymore. Any ideas?

 

The bearings probably went bad in the steering column,, and that in turn might have broken the 3 point carbon brushes under the steering wheel. These carbon brushes are what makes contact to complete the circuit for the horn and cruse. There is a 3 run copper runway mounted to the bottom of the steering wheel that the carbon brushes ride in. The runway may also be damaged.

 

Check your reverse lights too, mine blew a fuse and had no cruise or reverse lights, never checked the horn.

 

does your truck have an air bag? if it does, it also has a clock spring. and that is most likely bad.
