My 17 Transit mid height van did not come with factory cruise

Can it be added?

I'm currently in the process of installing a Rostra 250-9636 Cruise control kit (among other things) into our new to us 2017 Transit. Since it's not in yet I can't comment on how well it works but my dad likes the "Universal" one he has on his '57 Tbird; He just has to find a new magnet for the sensor on the bird. The transit one is drive by wire and it appears to be all factory t-harnesses aside from 1 wire, i believe, that goes to the steering column.
