Aftermarket fender

Hey all. I need to replace a fender on my F100. I canít seem to find a straight one so thinking about buying an aftermarket one. My question is who makes a better quality one? I see them range from $150-$200. But they might all be made from the same company for all I know. Anybody had good or bad experiences? Thanks Ben

C7TZ-16005-A Right & C7TZ-16006-A Left .. Front Fenders = 1967/72 F100/350.

The aftermarket fenders are made in China, so don't expect them to use the same gauge of sheet metal or to be a quality product.

I'd suggest that you continue to look for an original, since you now know what they fit.

I bought aftermarket fenders from an auto body supply business 15 years ago. They were Chinese, and frankly pretty good quality. Can't speak to what is out there now, but it is not a difficult stamping.

I knew theyíd be made of thinner steel. I was just wondering if one company was better than the other.

You buy an aftermarket fender from LMC/NPD/Blue Oval/Carpenter/Auto Krafters/Mac's and etc., but who is the maker? Was there more than one?

Would these repro parts sellers give out this info? I doubt it.

Really upsetting to know I had like 50 brand new fenders back in the 80's. Sold them for 5.00 each at swap meets, nobody wanted them. Now there in demand, if only you could go back in time.

So this is not that difficult. Order one, put a micrometer on it, and if you don't like it, send it back. I picked mine up locally so didn't have to worry about shipping. Be at least happy that you can get a part. Some parts for some vehicles have to be hand fabricated.

I have an original Ford passenger fender that's absolutely rust free. One small dent that's easily repaired. Message me if interested

Which fender are you looking for, passenger or driver side?

It is the driver side but I found one today for $75. Original and straight Thanks everybody for the response. I also found straight doors for $75 each The guy actually has a lot of parts. He has a 78 front end he wants $100 for complete
It seems cheap. What do you guys think?

I got both fronts for the wifes '70 a few years ago off Ebay. The fit was pretty close to the originals, not like that's saying much but they were definitely thinner gauge. I'd buy them again.
