HPOP Resevoir Not Priming?

I had a no start issue with my 95 F250 7.3 and my mechanic said it was the HPOP (he had a 7.3 himself). I decided to replace it myself and bought an Adrenaline HPOP. Put it in, filled up the HPOP resevoir and bled out the air and it ran fine. For about two days. Then, it had the same no start symptoms that it had BEFORE I took it to my mechanic. There were some o rings that weren't seated right and some oil leaking from the recent HPOP replacement and the HPOP resevoir was low on oil. Fixed o rings, filled resevoir and bled system again and it ran well for another 3 days, including a 250 mile trip. Then, no start again and very low oil in the resevoir. Adrenaline folks said it must be my LPOP (low pressure oil pump) not properly priming the resevoir and then I don't have sufficient oil for the start. They said I should replace the LPOP. Any thoughts? Feels like I have been chasing my tail.

There's also the check valve on the oil cooler. Have you messed with that recently? The early 7.3's check valve are known to fall out when changing the gaskets.

The LPOP isn't super expensive if I remember right, but it is a pain to get to.

Hmm. I didn't touch the oil cooler, just the hpop. Am I missing something? There was some leaking and even some spray on the hood presumably from the bad o rings but that has gone away as we replaced the o rings. I recall there was some sort of piece/valve that we had to be careful about it falling out of the hpop when replacing it. Pretty sure we handled that.

I'm not sure if you have already but if not, I would post this in the 1994.5 - 1997 7.3 Powestroke section of the forums. You will generate the most responses there. As far as your issue, I'm not sure myself. Good luck!
