Anyone put the gloss black letters on a black truck? Torn between gloss, matte black or liquid chrome since the truck is black and chrome.

 

Thank you for the MAGNETIC ideas. I think I will go with Liquid chrome for the front and black for the tailgate.

Hopefully not a dumb question ....

From what I can tell, you clean the truck and stick these on. Is it a one shot install, or can you wet the area and have the ability to position them if they are off a bit?

 

I cleaned the area with alcohol and sprayed water on the letters before applying them. It will give you a little time for positioning them.

Mine arrived today also.
I was thinking they were evenly spaced on a strip of tape ?
They appear to be individual letters.
I ended up getting liquid chrome for a black truck.
Also got the interior center console mats.

 

These? I love mine.

 

I have a 2017 F-250 Platinum in tri-coat white. I went with brushed silver for the "SUPER DUTY" letters and lightning blue for the "PLATINUM".

They fit perfect and have held up great for over a year of washes and weather.

Here is the black with the truck dirty and different angle. I may buy the liquid chrome for the front just to have it different. I like them both.

That looks awesome! I ordered matte black for all 3 areas for my tri coat white. They haven’t arrived yet.
This brushed silver has me second guessing that decision. I’ll post pics when they show up to compare.
