Low profile sharkfin antenna?

Just brought home the new Super Duty today. My garage door hangs below the frame. The sharkfin antenna would hit. I plan on raising the door. Is there an aftermarket low profile sharkfin antenna replacement out there so I could get a bit more clearance?

They do use a lower profile one on the New 2020 Fords!

What do you need, an inch? Might check with a door opener company--probably can get you that little more space.

Thanks. Ordered April 1st and arrived May 6th which I thought was super fast. I have the door company coming out so hopefully they can set the door limit higher. Still would be nice to get a bit more clearance with the sharkfin. I just saw the 2020 comment. Maybe that will trickle down then. I bought the truck to handle our travel trailer better and didn't want to lose a season waiting on the 2020s.

I thought the 2020s were mounted on the rear of the cab (and look funny). Maybe just takes time to get used to looking at.

Not sure if the older ones are the same function my 2017 has flat oval shaped antenna that is lower than the lights on the roof. It isnít painted to match either.

I think the shark fin one adds cellular (FordPass) support. My 2019 only has Sirius and has the oval roof antenna like yours.

That is probably right. I do have FordPass Connect.

Ah ok that makes sense and means the older ones are no help for the OP

Those almost look like flashers or something. Maybe for WIFI hotspots?

I think the WiFi hotspot is under the dash. You'd want it inside the cab for better connectivity.

I have the same "shark fin" antenna. just be careful when you try and drive through as the highest point of the truck is actually the rear of the cab. be sure to have someone watching you the first time if you are that close.
