7.3 not starting when warm
Hi, haven't been on here for a while.
A friend has a well kept, n/a 7.3
When the truck has a hot engine, it doesn't want to start.
The injectors and lines are good, he has checked and secured the seals at this location.
The truck is well kept
He thinks it may have an air leak elsewhere? Possibly air getting in and fuel not moving?
Any ideas on what / where else to check?
Thanks

I don`t know form personal experience, but read to pour cool water over the
front portion of the Injection Pump. If that helps it to start, then the IP needs
to be replaced.
How many miles on the engine? these pumps are good for around 150K miles.
If the Injectors have the same mileage, then they need to be replaced also.
