Window & vent window move/rattle a lot...
'96 F250 RWD 5.8l Auto when I shut the door the glass & window frames rattle, where the vent window and door glass meet there is movement enough to push a pencil down in the gap. First pic is where I removed parts from, next pics are 2 views of the part that was fixed with a bolt through the red circled 'square' hole in the first pic. The part that was affixed with a bolt through the blue circled hole was cast aluminum, broken and had patent pending and part numbers that are not Ford stamped into it, it was really just swinging around in there. maybe at one time it supported the other bracket but in a jerry-rigged fashion. The bracket with the 2 views has three small spot welds along the edge opposite the bolt.
How to get back to 'good', no ratttling, no loose parts and what do I need? Couldn't find these parts at RockAuto or the Bronco parts guy...
thanks

thanks jas88, so would a bad regulator effect the window operation? this one is cranking up and down normally except when you get to the top it moves the whole shebang an extra 1/4" and cranking it back brings it pretty much where it should be... reason I ask is I haven't found any pics of the window parts that show this piece. I will look again at 'regulators' probably something I missed.

I appreciate the help.
the bracket that I know where is came from has clearly broken off of the 'window glass channel' that may just be the back part of the vent window frame? anyone know if those are one and the same?
ALSO: anyone know what is supposed to be secured through the other hole *circled in blue' in the pic?
thanks

Discontinued part was why I couldn't find this from vendors, there were a few on eBay though and once I had the part number, F2TZ-1521409-A, looking at those listings made it clear it I needed to pull the vent window to fix the movement of glass and backside of the vent window.
The bracket and frame are spot welded so even though its tight I thought I could get 3 rivets to hold it together after grinding and drilling out the old welds:
tight quarters so I needed those washers to get an angle giving the tool more room...
Still don't know what goes in that other hole, maybe just pull the other door apart...
