What does this connector connect to, is it wiring related or something else?
There are several different types of outside mirrors on these trucks, so there's probably different connectors.
Where did you look for the puppy, on a dealers online parts catalog?
Ok the connector on the door that connects to the 2012 OEM power/lighted/heated mirrors wires plug. I searched in the ford wiring connector list https://www.fordservicecontent.com/p...torcatalog.pdf. There are so many I don’t know which one it is.
The connectors are divided by the number of pins. Find out the number pins in the connector and then match up the shape and if male or female you need.
Doesn't appear to be any 22 pin connectors in the pig tail catalog....you may have to purchase the door harness or go find a junk truck and get the pig tail.
here are the driver and passenger connectors. Appears to be same connector if the mirror does or doesn't have memory
