My clean 79 F-350.

79k miles and the only thing not original is the paint (no body work done). No idea what this would be worth but it seems rather rare for the area.

Very rare indeed! That silver color (if original) is one of the rarer ones. And 79 was the very first year for factory 4x4 in a 1 ton. More pics and info are needed!!

Very hot classy truck btw. The white wheels plus guard plus the paint make it glow I think!

eta: interior picks didn’t load, just saw them. Very clean interior! Is that all original? Don’t see to many seats and dash boards in that condition. With the 4 speed?! Awesome! I’m guessing 400? Factory air?

Yantzie,
Agree, that is a very nice looking rig and is equipped just the way I like them. Also, welcome to FTE and there are allot of knowledge folks on our forum.
Is the 1979 F-350 yours or something you're interested acquiring?
Although minor, the front hubs appear to be after market, perhaps WARN hubs. I can't in good faith give you a recommendation on what that truck is worth, it's too subjective, i.e. in the eyes of the beholder. But if I was in a market for another Ford Dentside truck and it was for sale, I would be interested.

The interior is all original. No cracks or checking in the dash. Factory 4 speed with with the 400. Sadly no air. Let me know what pictures you want and Ill get them. I will try and get a picture of the door plate shortly.

Indeed a very tidy looking truck and if rust free that's a huge plus and will boost value. Assuming engine and trans is tight, brake system maintained and 100%, tight steering, no major leaks, etc. Many variables affecting value and aside from condition it also depends how it is marketed. I'll guess in the $11k-15k range. Possibly more to the right person when planets are aligned. Originality/unmolested can attract buyers willing to pay more. I don't claim to be an expert on value. Just a guess after coming off a 6 month nationwide search for a late model Dentside.

Welcome to FTE, very nice truck and in NE and not all farmed out, yes worth a pretty penny. A very pretty shiny rare penny, for sure.

Those hubs look kinda like the Selectro hubs on my 78. They're a really good hub if they are.

Very nice, would not be surprised at a respray on silver in 1979. Most Fords around that era faded badly in silver. Will not pull the load as fast as a new SD but it will get a ton more looks and smiles.

Nice truck!!!

Is that seat upholstery original? I didn't think that Ford offered a plain 'taxi cab' fabric like that in Dentsides, but I've been wrong before...

I thought of a taxi cab seat cover when I first saw the upholstery in my 73 F100 as well.
