Rear Solid Glass Rubber Gasket

I plan to put solid rear window in my truck when I get home in a couple weeks. I have a couple sources for a used window because all the glass companies up here want $160-$185 for just the glass. ($300-$350 Installed)

My question is about the rubber gasket.

Jeff's Bronco Graveyard has a generic aftermarket gasket for $40 + $20 for shipping, or they have the Dennis Carpenter one for $50 + $32 for shipping.
DC Gasket or Generic Gasket
I can find others for $35-$40, but they either do not ship to Alaska, or want $40+ to ship it.

My question is whether the DC gasket is worth the extra $22?

What's your thoughts?

If you plan on maintaining the rubber you should be fine with the generic one. I'd say go with the generic.

Just curious, what specific kind of maintenance are you talking about?

Nothing major: I like to spray my weatherstripping with silicone spray every once in a while; seems to keep it nice and pliable, keeps the dry rot at bay.

Good deal, sounds like pretty easy upkeep. Thanks for the tip.
