84 f150 clutch hard to depress when not running
Hello, I have a 1984 f150 4x4 with the straight 6 and a 4 speed granny low. It has a new clutch master and slave cylinder. It shifts great but when the engine is off the clutch pedal is very hard to depress. I was just curious about why that it and if it could be a sign of future problems. Thanks-Colby

Make sure the tube that the throwout bearing slides on has a little bit of lube on it. It's very difficult to get to, and you have to be careful and not over do it and get lube on the clutch. But a little lube on that tube should make a big difference. Try to get some on the pivot ball for the fork also.
