Hey everyone, I need help. I am trying to get my 2003 Sport Trac to pass NYS inspection. Everything passes except for EGR and EVAP (the computer says it's not ready). I had a new EGR valve and EVAP canister vent installed. I followed the instructions for drive cycle so things can reset with no luck. I would greatly appreciate any other advice and tips from anyone who may have had this issue. Other than this she is a great truck with over 333,000 miles and counting. Thank you in advance for your help.

 

Have you done any actual troubleshooting or did you just replace those parts on a whim? Were they actually diagnosed to be defective?
