spotted my first ranger 3/16/19

Nice truck! Congrats! Keep us posted with updates on how it holds up over the long haul. I'm starting to see a few of them in the wild here in my local area. Region's largest volume dealer, Shultz Ford has several between their 2 locations. Most are upper-end crew cabs which really isn't what I'm after.

My observations after 7 days.
So far I love this truck. I was thinking of an XLT at first but after owning a spartan Tacoma for years I decided on luxury and a Lariat. I really like an 8" backup camera compared to one the size of a postage stamp on the Tacoma. Another thing I really like is the blind spot option, there are too many blind spots on modern trucks.
Strange that I'm still not seeing any Rangers in Northern Ohio except in my garage and dealer lots. While looking at what was available I noticed most have the FX4 option. That gives a very stiff ride so I went for a truck without it and it was hard to find.
Another thing I'm noticing is aftermarket goodies are slow coming out. The class 4 hitch I added just came in this week, before that there were none available in this area. All the trucks I looked at came with a hitch except for the one I bought, so far the only mistake I made.
I'm very pleased with the power of the 2.3 Eco boost. Compared to the 2.7 Tacoma I can actually pass other vehicles now.

5/15 and I still have not seen one in the wild. Quite surprised by this.
