Hello all,

I have a 1962 4x4 F-100 that needs a new body. It is not the unibody, its the standard body. I love the truck but it needs some TLC. If anyone has any good body parts for sale minus the cab (mines good) let me know. I especially need a bed, someone put one from a 59 on the truck. Thanks for the help and by the way, nice site!

 

are you sure someone put that box on there ?
my bro bought a 62 4x4 wrecker and it had that box from the factory.
He's also looking for body parts.

 

Im not sure about that but the body lines do not match up, it doesnt look bad, just not right. There are several yards up here but no one has any parts I need....

 

That 'wrong' bed is actually right. The '60s smooth side trucks didn't get their 'own' beds until 1964. Due to the unibody coming out, Ford elected to just keep making pre-61 beds for those who bought non-uni trucks.
Those beds are easier to find since they were used on more trucks. Or, you could get a stepside bed brand new (they reproduce those).
