Does anybody know what size tires you can go up to on a 2003 f250 Super Duty i have 265 firestones on it now and wanting to purchase 305 pro comp tires which measure 32.8 inches and the firestones are 31.7 so i shouldn't be a problem right

Check the FAQ, located at the top of the Super Duty forum's thread list. 295's are the highest you should go if you want to maintain full articulation without any rubbing. Many who have tried 305's have found it just barely makes the cut, some have had a little rub at full turn and/or when off-road & articulating. Even heard a few comment their 315's worked out OK, but I wouldn't risk it.
The FAQ will also let you know what size tires you can run with which size lift.
Does that list in the FAQ apply to 2WD trucks as well? The stock 4WDs seem to sit higher in the front than the stock 2WDs. So I wonder if 295's would actually work on a stock 2WD. Also, anyone had trouble putting those on the stock rims?

The stock 2wd's and 4wd's sit the same in the front I think... they just might sit higher in the rear depending on your block/spring configuration. Don't quote me on this -- and if anyone knows better, please correct me.
In any case, I went with 285's. I like to leave a little margin for "just in case" room. Works perfectly.
I'm definitely no expert but you might want to be aware of your rim width. I just put 285/75 on my truck and they fit great with no rubbing, but technically I need wider rims (at least 7.5" - stock rims are 7"). 305 probably calls for at least an 8" rim. I assume putting wide tires on narrow rims will cause unusual wear and probably void manufacturer warranties, although, big tires like these don't seem to have much of a warranty anyways. Something to think about...

Good point, MClark. That's true too.. also, rim's don't come in 1/2 sizes. The 7.5" minimum is really an 8" rim. That's another eason I went with 285's -- their 7.5" min. is closer to the 7" stock rim. No problems yet, and others who run the same size reported the same. But you are absolutely correct that tmasoner should consider this along with his tire size decision.
