I don't know if that is real patina or faux-tina but it looks good.
I know that chrome grilles were optional in 56, But why put a shiny new chrome grille on an old looking unpainted truck. Furthermore, why put shiny stainless bumpers on a stock looking unpainted truck..... Not to mention the step plates on the running boards.
