Evening All!
I think I got everything taken care of that needed to be. The only thing I can think of that's left is a loose piece of formica in mom's bathroom. Everything else is looking pretty good. I've been trying to help out with dad as much as I can, but truth be told, I'm freakin' clueless, here. I don't know where any of his supplies are, I don't know what he needs, when. ...I'm just flying blind. I'm trying to help out as much as possible without costing too much money. We decided after dad goes, mom is gonna move to Missouri so I can keep a better eye on her. She isn't in much better health than dad.

Alan hang in there, hope for the best, plan for the worst. You are at least there for them and doing all you can.

SNOW!!! What the heck. My yard is white! I'm getting too old for this.
Today is another day of packing, tired and sore. My tetris game is going pretty good in my storage shed. Although, I'm sure it will get much more challenging soon.
I have a desk my dad built that is big and bulky. Not sure if I want to save it or not. It's made of plywood, but built to last. Well considering he built it over 30 years ago and it still looks new.

Good Morning Everybody!
Today is my last day down here. Make sure you all get that white stuff gone by the time I get back tomorrow morning. I should be home by 0800 or 0830 tomorrow morning. Then it's back to work on EQ. I'm almost ready to start laying graphics down. I need to get the truck done so I can be ready for when mom says it's time.

good morning missouri.. alan i feel for ya to be in that situation.. but we all have had to deal with it at one time.. everyone has a different set of hurdles to jump
i was going thru my tools trying to get my engine build finished this week.. but my (antique) degree wheel had some how got something on it that made some of the paint peel off.. a wheel with no numbers is very hard to use....
they have a decent looking one from 'mr gasket ' for around 50 dollars.. i was wondering if anyone has a degree wheel i can borrow, to do the last engine i am ever building!!!! without it costing me another 50 bucks.. i found my magnetic dial indicator set so all i need is the wheel

Afternoon everyone.
Mother Nature is keeping me from catching up on car maintenance today, so I'm getting some garage time in. I've got the other cab mount stripped from the hunk of floorboard so I could eyeball some angles on it for the other mount. So far, it just appears to have some minor rust issues that I ought to be able to clean out and do some minor patch work. I won't know for sure until I can get outside and take the sandblaster to it.
I now have the lower half of the driver's side cab mount welded up. I've test fit it against the section of replacement floor board I have and it seems to be pretty close but I really won't know until the new floorboards in when the weather warms up and I have a little more help handy.

I'm all checked in for my flight and I printed my boarding pass, so now all I have to do is get through security in the morning and I should be on my way home.
